Designed for graduate students and early-career clinicians, this workshop builds a practical foundation in adult ADHD assessment. Participants will review best practices for conducting structured clinical interviews, selecting and interpreting screening tools and core assessment measures, and integrating multiple data sources into a diagnostic formulation. The session also addresses diagnostic complexity, including comorbid conditions and overlapping symptom presentations, and provides a clear roadmap for developing skills and obtaining appropriate supervision. 

This workshop focused on the complexities of conducting gold-standard assessments for adult ADHD, an area of growing clinical importance as more adults seek support for executive functioning challenges. Having previously delivered this training for psychologists across Ontario, Dr. Saeid shared these evidence-informed practices with clinicians from across Canada. The session offered an in-depth exploration of best practices in adult ADHD assessment, including a review of standardized tools and clinical procedures, as well as interventions following a diagnosis. It was designed to equip psychologists with the knowledge, structure, and supervision pathways necessary to deliver high-quality care with confidence to support neurodiverse adults.
