Our Expedited Post-Secondary Psychoeducational Assessment follows the same gold-standard process as our standard assessment, with a faster turnaround designed for students and professionals facing urgent deadlines.
The Expedited Adult Psychoeducational Assessment is a standardized evaluation of an individual's intellectual and academic skills, as well as the cognitive processes that underpin learning, such as memory, processing speed, and fine-motor control.
Our Expedited Assessment is designed for adults who need results quickly, whether to access academic accommodations at a college or university, or to meet the evaluation requirements for a professional licensure body. The assessment follows the same rigorous methodology as our standard service, with a prioritized report turnaround.
If attention difficulties are identified during the assessment, ADHD will be evaluated at no additional cost.
Priority Report Delivery: Your assessment report will be completed within one week of your assessment date, subject to timely submission of all required documents and completed questionnaires.
The Expedited Assessment follows a structured, efficient process designed to minimize wait times while preserving the depth and clinical rigour of a full evaluation.
Prior to your first session, you will receive a background questionnaire to complete and return, along with any relevant documentation such as prior reports, academic records, or referral letters. Timely submission of these materials is essential to meeting the one-week report delivery commitment.
The assessment consists of six to ten hours of in-person testing with a registered psychologist. Through a combination of cognitive and academic tasks, the psychologist builds a comprehensive picture of how you think, learn, and process information, covering areas such as reasoning, memory, attention, processing speed, reading, writing, and mathematics. If attention difficulties emerge during testing, ADHD will be assessed as part of the same evaluation at no additional cost.
Once testing is complete, your psychologist will meet with you to walk through the results and discuss next steps. This session typically takes one hour.
