Getting It Done with ADHD is a 10-week mentoring and coaching program developed using ADHD For Life’s Triangle Learning Model™. Throughout the program, students learn why they think and act the way they do, build strategies to manage executive-function and working-memory challenges, and reflect on how their values and use of time align with their academic and personal goals.
The program is designed to be practical and manageable. Content is broken into smaller pieces so students can go at a pace that works for them. The more actively students participate, the more benefit they can expect to gain.
This group is designed for post-secondary students who:
Are coming to terms with their ADHD diagnosis for the first time.
Already know about ADHD and want to update their toolbox with new frameworks.
Want a deeper understanding of how ADHD affects their educational performance.
Want to get more out of their education by working with, rather than against, their ADHD.
Do not have a formal ADHD diagnosis but identify with ADHD traits and feel that executive function-focused coaching/therapy would be helpful.
Weekly 1-hour live video sessions with lead instructor and doctoral psychologist, Dr. Claire Sira focused on specific executive function skills and strategies.
1-hour in-person Accountability Power Hours with co-instructor and psychologist, Shervin to support follow-through, structure, and consistency.
An online space where participants can access materials and stay connected between sessions.
Quality video modules and worksheets that reinforce key concepts and help students apply them to their own schedules and coursework.
A UForward Planner provided to each participant to support planning, time blocking, and task management.
Participants receive a discounted ticket for future programs.
Many ADHD programs focus only on information. This group is designed to help you actually use the strategies in your week-to-week life.
A key feature is our Weekly Accountability Power Hours. Each week, our psychologist meets with students in a structured working session to:
Walk through that week’s worksheets and exercises together
Clarify how to apply the tools to your own schedule, assignments, and priorities
Help you break tasks into manageable steps and get started on them
Check in on your goals and troubleshoot what got in the way
Provide gentle, consistent accountability so that momentum is maintained over time
Instead of leaving you to figure everything out on your own between sessions, the program builds in protected time, guidance, and follow-through - so strategies move off the page and into your daily routines.
The techniques and skills taught in this program are based on psychological research and delivered by a doctoral-level psychologist who specializes in ADHD. Students can expect to:
Build a clearer understanding of how ADHD shows up in their day-to-day academic life.
Learn concrete strategies to support executive functions such as planning, organization, and working memory.
Practice tools to manage distractions, procrastination, and competing priorities.
Connect their time use and habits to their personal values and goals.
The content is designed for adult learners and focuses on translating expert knowledge into practical, real-world strategies.
The program is intentionally priced to align with common student insurance coverage (approximately $100 per session).
Fee per session: $100
Total program fee (10 weeks): $1,000
Fees are billed as psychological services provided by a registered psychologist with involvement from a supervised doctoral trainee.
Students can typically submit receipts to their extended health or student insurance plan for reimbursement, up to their plan’s usual per-session maximum. Coverage varies by insurer and plan, so we encourage students to confirm details with their insurance provider.
